Papilionanthe (Vanda) teres v. aureolabium 4"
Papilionanthe (Vanda) teres
species - Himalayas, Assam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Andaman Islands, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam
Papilionanthe teres is the type specimen of the genus (the one that was first described and represents the rest of the related plants) and is a very lovely orchid that needs bright light and warm conditions (65-85+ degrees) to do its best. Of course, regular watering and fertilizing are also necessary, but avoid over-potting and soggy media.
Over time the plants can become quite tall, however, because multiple roots are produced along the stem, the plants can be "topped" to fit your requirements.
The plants we are offering are 16-18 " tall currently and are planted in New Zealand orchid bark.
