Phalaenopsis Chang Maw Jade FS
Phalaenopsis Chang Maw Jade
(Yungho Gelb Canary X Yungho Gelblitz)
A very unusual Phalaenopsis, especially since it is 50% Phal. micholitzii, 37.5% Phal. amboinensis and 12.5% Phal. violacea! These plants have a leafspan of 8-9" and are flowering size, but not currently in flower. The plants take after the Phal. amboinensis parent, that is, leaves are wide and shiny green. Stems will be short and arching and will produce 2", long lasting flowers. Best not to cut the stems while they are still green.
Like all Phalaenopsis, Chang Maw Green prefers subdued light, warm nights (65-ish degrees), good humidity with regular watering and feeding. Aim ti keep roots moist rather than soggy.
