With fragrant flowers up to 6"+ across, who can resist, especially a Cattleya lover! These never last long when we have them in bloom.
Like most Cattleyas, Sanyung Ruby prefers warmish nights (60 degrees or thereabout), bright light and regular watering and feeding. Allow the plant to dry slightly between watering and hold back on the routine when weather becomes cold and dreary.
These plants are not in flower now, but could flower in a year if cared for properly. Many are putting up new growths. We call this NFS (near flowering size).
