Dendrobium Avril's Gold 'Dark & Spotty' AM/AOS
(Aussie Child X speciosum)
These plants are 3/4 Dendrobium speciosum and should be quite temperature tolerant. You can grow them with cool nights, but we grow them warmer and they seem to respond by growing faster. They are probably 2 seasons from blooming. Avril's Gold prefers bright light with regular water and fertilizer especially when they are in growth mode.
These are small 5+ bulb plants in 3.25" pots, At maturity the plants can produce multiple stems of 4-6, 2.5 X 1.9" flowers. If you're an Aussie Dendrobium fan, this one is for you!
