Here is a very pretty Miltonia (now correctly Miltoniopsis) bearing multiple stems of 3"+ flowers for the onset of Spring.
As with all Miltonias, this one likes cool, bright, breezy conditions and prefers to be moist at the roots. Miltonias do not need a dry rest so even watering and fertilizing is the regimen.
Avoid the following triad of conditions: hot, dry and still. Note that "dry" not only refers to dry at the roots, but also to a lack of humidity as well. These two forms of dry are the main cause of crumpled new growths. Once the growth is deformed, it will not straighten out, though if conditions are corrected succeeding growth can grow normally.
