Dendrobium Eltonense

(victoria-reginae X papilio)

These are large, well-established plants that we held back from our original remake. We have grown them cool and moist in a greenhouse that suits Masdevallias and Draculas in light that is normally subdued (i.e. dappled). They are mounted on virgin cork (cork bark from the first or second harvest). Flowers can be up to 3" and may be produced at any time. It seems that flowers attain to better (darker) color when produced in a cool, shady environment. No dry rest is necessary, but regular watering and fertilizing are. For these plants to do their best, avoid hot dry conditions.

We recommend against using Express Saver and Ground, especially during months when either extreme cold or heat are possible. If you choose to use Express Saver or Ground, we will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to your plants. If damage occurs and you wish to file a claim with FedEx, it will be your responsibility to do so. At our own discretion, we may hold Winter shipments to areas where extreme cold is possible until weather moderates.
