Dendrobium victoria-reginae 2" FS
species - Philippines
It's more of a blue-purple, but it always attracts attention in the nursery. These are grown from seed and will vary only a little in size and shade of flower. Den. victoria-reginae is a cool grower; the greenhouse where we grow it drops to around 40 degrees at night and summer days may reach 90. Blooms may appear at any time of year and may occur on both leafed and leafless stems. We grow it with dappled light and keep it moist.
These plants stand about 10-12" out of the pot and have 2 or more stems/growths. They are flowering size. Den. victoria-reginae can also be grown in a basket or mounted.
