Dendrobium tobaense v. giganteum
species - Sabah Borneo
The plants are covered with short black hairs typical of the Formosae Section of Dendrobiums, but the flowers are fantastic in the true sense of the word. They are up to 3" across and occur one at a time, but successively along the upper part of the stem usually in the Fall. The plants are evergreen, appreciate bright indirect light with temperatures from about 65 to 85 degrees night to day. Water and feed regularly; use a liquid or water soluble plant food once a month with a lessening of both water and fertilizer during the Winter until new growth begins.
The plants being offered are 5-7" tall and are not in bloom, however many have bloomed in this size!
LIMITED!! IMMATURE* BLOOMING SIZE!!!
*NOTE: This is intended to convey the idea that the plants have not attained full, adult size, but are still able to bloom although with fewer flowers.
