Bulbophyllum ambrosia

Orchid collectors know that Bulbophyllums have a reputation for ...well, disagreeable fragrances. OK, bad smells. But this 1.25" flower is sweet smelling. The plant does best with a temper range of around 65 degrees to 85 with filtered light and prefers to be moist. Humidity and good air circulation are also helpful. The plants are Winter bloomers and don't have a rest period. Whatever method you use to water the plant, add fertilizer to the water regularly. It is a somewhat rangy grower and may rather quickly leave the cork mount it's planted on in search of other places to attach.

If damage occurs and you wish to file a claim with FedEx, it will be your responsibility to do so. At our own discretion, we may hold Winter shipments to areas where extreme cold is possible until weather moderates.
