So sweetly scented at night is this species that it has garnered the name 'Lady of the Night'. It prefers bright indirect light and warm nights (65 degrees and up). It flowers out of the newly developing growth with 4 to 6 nearly 4" flowers, usually in Spring or Summer, but can flower at any time of year. Water the mounted ones every 3-4 days adding fertilizer regularly. Those in pots should not be kept wet, but allowed to dry somewhat between waterings that should also have some fertilizer added regularly.
