Species: Borneo, Philippines, Papua & New Guinea, Fiji, So. Sea Islands
Grown from seed.
THESE PLANTS ARE TOO LARGE TO SHIP AND ARE AVAILABLE AT THE NURSERY ONLY!
Grammatophyllums were late this year, but we have a LIMITED number in spike and bloom now! The price listed is for a 7-8" pot with one stem of buds and/or flowers. HOWEVER, we have both smaller and larger plants with more stems all priced individually.
Grammatophyllums are large, tropical Cymbidium relatives. They prefer warm nights (65 degrees) and bright light with regular feeding and watering. When they are in bloom thorough watering should be done every 3-4 days because they lose a great deal of water through the large number of flowers they produce. Failing to do this almost always results in the death of the plant.
