Rhyncholaelia (Brassavola) digbyana 4" NFS
Rhyncholaelia digbyana
species - Southern Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica
This is a sun lover! Bright indirect light is a must to see it do well; direct sun at midday should be avoided, but at other times will not hurt. Be careful not to place your plant close to a south or west facing, unobstructed window! Water and fertilize regularly, allowing the plant to dry slightly between waterings, but lessen both after new growths have fully matured.
"Digby" would like warm nights and days (60-65 to 85 + degrees night to day).
Amazing and fragrant (lemony) flowers up to 7" are produced singly (one per growth) mostly during the Summer.
LIMITED! NEAR FLOWERING SIZE-NOT CURRENTLY IN BUD OR BLOOM!!
NOTE: this plant does not like old spent mixes. It does well as a mounted specimen too.
