Rlc. Hsinying Mini Dancer 'C.H. #1' 2" meristem
Rlc. Hsinying Mini Dancer
(Li Jiuan Dancer X C. Mini Song)
The name 'Mini Dancer' is a bit misleading, the first one to be awarded in Japan measured over 5" in size. There it was a Spring-Summer bloomer. The Plants would like bright indirect light with temperatures between about 65 degrees at night to 85 during the day. Water and fertilizer regularly year-round using a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month. Allow the medium to dry slightly between waterings.
LIMITED! NOT FLOWERING SIZE, NOT IN BUD OR BLOOM!!!
GROWER'S NOTE: Sometimes new growers mistakenly believe that keeping all kinds of orchid plants constantly wet promotes good roots. In some cases this is true, but with others (Cattleyas, Vandas, etc.) a little dryness actually stimulates the plant to "go looking for water" with its roots. Some plants will even put out an abundance of roots above a growing medium that has become waterlogged or is decaying.
